A wee bakery on Water Row
We bake pastries and breads by hand every morning, so what you see in the display is what came out of our ovens that day. People come from across Glasgow for the ham and cheese pan suisse, the lemon meringue pastry and a flat white to go with it, and yes, there is often a queue at the weekend. It is worth the wait.
We are proud to be part of Govan. Whether you sit in for coffee and a pastry or grab something for the walk along the river, you will get the same fresh bakes and the same friendly welcome every time.

What our customers say
“Absolutely amazing pastries, they not only taste amazing but are absolutely beautiful. Great service, a little pricey but so worth it for the workmanship put in to making the pastries. It's a nice big cafe, will definitely be back to try the coffee and more pastries”
via Google“Lives up to the hype! I arrived right at opening to avoid the rush, and I'm so glad I did. Everything we got was incredibly fresh. The ham, cheese, and mustard pastry is a total game-changer (I could have eaten three!), and the cakes were perfectly baked. …”
via Google“Amazing bakery in Govan. The bakes are incredible and it's so hard to choose from all of them when you're looking at the full display. Lovely coffee and perfect to stop off at on a walk. …”
via Google“The cafe looks amazing and staff were so friendly and helpful. The pastry was delicious but very small compared to Danish pastries in most other bakeries. However the flavour was great and worth it as a treat. Coffee was in the milkier side but still nice.”
via Google“Such a nice bakery!! We tried ham and cheese pan suisse, red pepper monkey bread, white choc and pistachio cookie and a lemon meringue pastry - all delicious. …”
via Google“We were in Moose Jaw for the interment of my parents ashes - we had a small reception after and we purchased all our baked goods from Maple Leaf Bakery. Thank you for still being as awesome as we all remembered you to be from our childhood. It was wonderful!! …”
